One of the most interesting ideas in 100 Candle Designs came up in America. The candle made in memory of the tragic nature event created by St. Helens Volcano in Washington State, that exploded in 1980 is a two-part design. The lower part is constructed as a concrete candle holder and exactly reflects the current state of the mountain. The candle on top shows the peak of the mountain, which disappeared in the volcanic eruption. As this part made of beeswax burns, it stays the natural phenomenon in 1980, and the candle melts and ends up like this piece of land at the top of the mountain.
